The grounding device for urban rail transit mainly consists of components such as a protective cover, carbon brush, friction disk, constant-force spring, brush holder, and insulation structures.
The friction disk is mounted on the axle end and maintains close contact with the carbon brush to form a conductive circuit, enabling current return.
The main body of the grounding device is installed on the axle box end cover. A carbon brush and a constant-force spring are housed in the brush holder hole, with the spring ensuring consistent contact between the carbon brush and the friction disk.
The device is equipped with an insulating disk and insulating base to ensure electrical insulation between the grounding device and the axle box.
Sealing elements are integrated into the design to prevent external water or dust from entering the interior of the grounding device.
